Beta1 gets laggier with time, cause of a lot of memory leaks, thus forcing people to refresh the browser to get rid of client lag.
Starling is a cool game engine, it uses GPU to render the content, in the end game was performing well, but not on older computers, thus making it laggy. So the performance beta2 was focused on – was missing.
It was a disaster so we rolled back to beta1 and started a second rewrite, this time using FlashPunk. It won’t take so long, cause this time we’ll reuse some code.
